Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 06-05-2025

At Skyline Driving Academy, we strive to provide a flexible and accommodating experience for our students. However, we also need to maintain policies that ensure the smooth operation of our courses. Please read our Cancellation Policy carefully.

1. Course Registration and Payment

  • For our Driver Education Course, a nonrefundable deposit is required upon registration to confirm your seat. The remaining balance must be paid by the beginning of class.
  • For the Defensive Driving Course, full payment is due upon registration.
  • Private lessons can be paid in advance to confirm the schedule.
  • In certain circumstances, a payment plan may be arranged, but all payments must be completed before in-car lessons commence.

2. Non-Attendance and Cancellations

  • Non-attendance or cancellations will result in a charge of 100% of the course cost.
  • If you need to reschedule an in-car lesson, please provide us with as much notice as possible. We require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to avoid additional charges.
  • Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will incur a fee of $100 plus applicable taxes for rescheduling.

3. Course Completion Timeline

  • Students have 6 months from the registration date to complete the online e-Learning course. After this period, an additional fee of $100 will be applied.
  • To begin the 10 hours of in-car driving lessons, students must first complete the online course.

4. Graduation Requirements

  • If a student is unable to graduate from driver’s education (completing both online/in-person classes and in-car lessons) within one year, they will be disqualified from graduation. To graduate afterward, the student must re-register, pay the full amount, and start the course from the beginning.

5. Course Cancellation by Skyline Driving Academy

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule course dates due to weather, lack of registration, or other unforeseen circumstances. If a change to a session time is necessary, we will notify the student in advance.
